DAMIR PUH

Damir Puh is a guitarist, songwriter, producer and mixing engineer based in Skopje, Macedonia.

He picked up the guitar at age 13, inspired by numerous classic rock, metal, progressive and instrumental bands and artists. That initial spark was later complemented by the new-found passion for audio engineering, sound design and music production. The wide range of influences and experience in all phases of the music creation process shaped his style in a uniquely musical manner – playing guitar with attitude and producing a bold and striking sound that rocks and inspires people.

He has released music as a solo artist, as a featured artist in other bands and projects, performed at multiple national and regional festivals and events and produced, mixed and mastered music for bands, solo artists and international brands. Some of the recording and performing highlights include the collaboration with Derek Sherinian on Station: Innermost EP “Exposure” and performing as a support act for Deep Purple.

Over the years he took part in multiple international guitar and audio production competitions, winning awards or being a finalist in most of them – Top-8 finalist at “Guitar Idol 4”, Rock Guitarist winner at “Six String Theory 2014”, “Live4Guitar” 1st guitar competition winner & “Ratemymix” runner-up (Top-6 out of 6700+ entries), to name a few.

As a songwriter and producer, Damir is constantly involved in the Macedonian pop, rock and electronic scene. He produced, arranged and co-wrote several Top-10 hits charting on multiple radio stations in the country. Being active as an artist and producer, he is constantly present in the media, with regular appearances on TV and Radio shows, as well as online magazines and portals.

Currently, Damir is producing other bands and artists, he is an JTC Guitar artist, and he runs GreenRoom Sound Studio, where he does the majority of his music production work.
